Snow!

Well, just like last year, our big snow happened in March! It's almost like winter is trying to give one last big push before spring comes along hot on its tail. It's supposed to be 60 degrees on Wednesday!

We had nearly 8 inches! It's been years since we had that much snow. It started Saturday afternoon and snowed all night. The sun came out on Sunday morning, and it was so beautiful! It quickly began melting the snow, even though the temperatures were still below freezing. I took this picture in the afternoon, after much of it had melted off the trees and fences. And today, Monday, it's still hanging around in the shady places, because it is barely supposed to get above freezing again today. We didn't have much time to get out in it, although Molly took the opportunity to go roll around in it some Sunday afternoon. But she wasn't dressed appropriately at all, so I made her come in and take a warm shower and change.

OK...now we've had our snow. Bring on spring already!
