Molly sang a solo part in the Christmas cantata at church. She did a great job! I'll post a video clip as soon as I get it edited so that the size is reduced enough to post.
We went to my sister Donna's house for Christmas Eve, then had Christmas Day at home. On Friday night, we had a party with the Fullertons who live in Miami, the Harmons who live in Chattanooga, and the Braytons who live in Bartlett. (That's nearby, for those of you who don't know.) The other two families were here visiting for the holidays, so we had to plan a time to visit. I think we'll plan a party for every year! It was lots of fun.
On Saturday we headed to Chattanooga where we stayed in a hotel and visited with Lee's parents through Sunday. Then we drove to Atlanta and spent four days including New Year's Eve with Lee's sister Davida.
Molly, of course, HAD to visit the American Girl store there again and blow her Christmas money. She only asked for a camera and money for Christmas, so that made my job easy! She bought three outfits and two books. We went to the Varsity to eat lunch, then found the Ikea store. What a cool place! That will now be a regular stop on our trips there.
This time, we managed to get into the American Girl Bistro for a snack! It was overpriced, but it was cute to do once, anyway.

We ate lunch one day at the Marietta Diner, since it was on the Diners, Drive-ins, And Dives list of places that Guy Fieri has been on that show. It was delicious!
We were too full to get one of the huge slices of one of their 6" tall cakes, but we did run through the Krispy Kreme drive-thru across the street!
I bought some sparklers at WalMart, since they are illegal here. We braved the cold and did some on New Year's Eve. The kids loved them!
